How it works
Trade DPF cleaning is for garages and workshops that have already diagnosed a blocked filter and want it cleaned, not replaced. You do the removal and refit in your own bays, and we do the cleaning at 201 King Street, Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent. It suits filters that are too far gone for an on-car flush and regen, and saves your customer the cost of a new unit when the filter itself is sound.
We check every filter for cracks, a melted core or housing damage before we start, and test how restricted it is. We clean out the ash and soot that regenerations leave behind, then test it again so you have the readings to hand when you refit it.

We aim to have most drop-off cleans done within one working day, but it can take longer depending on the filter, so we’ll give you a time when you book. If a filter turns out to be cracked or melted, we’ll tell you before going any further, so you can talk to your customer about replacement.
Garages outside Stoke-on-Trent can post filters in. Quote and return times depend on where you are.
Who sends us filters
Most of the trade filters we see have been through repeated failed regenerations or high mileage, and are packed with ash an on-car clean can’t shift. Ash comes mostly from additives in the engine oil, and regenerations can’t burn it off, so it keeps building until the filter is cleaned.

Remapping and AdBlue
We work alongside our sister companies. ECU remapping is done by Pro Remapping, from the same Fenton workshop, and AdBlue and NOx faults are handled by AdBlue Specialist.

Do I need to book before dropping a filter off?
Yes, please call or WhatsApp us first. Visits are by appointment, and booking means we can give you a time for the clean.
How long does a trade clean take?
We aim to have most drop-off cleans done within one working day, but it can take longer depending on the filter and how blocked it is. We’ll give you a time when you book.
Can I post filters to you?
Yes. Garages further away can post filters to us. Quote and return times depend on where you are.
What if the filter is cracked or melted?
We inspect every filter before cleaning. Cleaning can’t repair a cracked or melted core, so if a filter is beyond saving we’ll tell you before going any further.
Do you clean HGV and commercial filters?
Yes, on quote. Send us the filter details or part number. Our new DCS-20L machine supports HGV filters. See HGV DPF cleaning.
Can you remove and refit the filter instead?
The trade service is drop-off, so you remove and refit it. If you’d rather we did the whole job, the vehicle can come to us for off-car DPF cleaning or an on-car clean.
