How it works
A vehicle stuck in limp mode is a vehicle that isn’t earning. Fleet DPF cleaning lets you deal with blocked filters on your terms: your workshop or fitter takes the filter off, it comes to our Fenton workshop by hand or by post, and we clean it.
We check every filter for cracks, a melted core or housing damage, and test how restricted it is before cleaning. After the clean we test it again, so you have before-and-after readings to keep with the vehicle’s records.
Drop-off cleaning for car and van DPFs starts from £100 + VAT. Prices may vary depending on the filter, its condition and the job, and we confirm the price before any work starts. HGV and larger commercial filters are priced separately, on quote.

Downtime and planning
Regenerations burn off soot, but they leave ash behind. Most of it comes from additives in the engine oil, it doesn’t burn, and it builds up over time. Vehicles on short runs, multi-drop routes or long idling shifts also struggle to finish regenerations, so their filters tend to block sooner.
Rather than waiting for a vehicle to drop into limp mode on a job, watch for the early signs: DPF warning lights, regenerations that keep restarting and vehicles that feel down on power. Booking those in before they fail means you choose when the vehicle is off the road. Call us and we’ll give you a time when you book.
Keep a simple log for each vehicle of when the DPF warning came on, when it was cleaned and the readings we gave you. Over time it shows which vehicles and routes block filters fastest, so you can plan cleans before they turn into breakdowns. A blocked or tampered DPF also matters at the MOT, where visible smoke or evidence of tampering is a major fault.
Filters can be posted in from anywhere in the UK. Quote and return times depend on where you are.
What fleets run
Fleet vehicles work harder than most private cars. These are the ones we hear about most from people running them.
Stop-start multi-drop work keeps exhaust temperatures low, so regenerations struggle.
Short hops between jobs and hours parked on site. See DPF cleaning for vans, taxis and commercial vehicles.
Lots of short urban journeys and different drivers.
Towing, payloads and site work. See DPF cleaning for pickup trucks.
Hours of idling in queues and town traffic.
Larger commercial and HGV filters on quote. See HGV DPF cleaning.

How much does fleet DPF cleaning cost?
Drop-off cleaning for car and van DPFs starts from £100 + VAT. Prices may vary depending on the filter, its condition and the job, and we confirm the price before any work starts. HGV and larger commercial filters are priced separately, on quote.
How long will a vehicle be off the road?
That depends on how long the filter takes to remove and refit, and on the clean itself. We aim to have most drop-off cleans done within one working day, but it can take longer, so we’ll give you a time when you book.
Can you fit around our schedule?
We’re open 7 days, Monday to Friday 9am to 9pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am to 8pm, with visits by appointment. Book ahead and we’ll give you a time.
Do we get anything for our records?
Yes. We give you the before-and-after readings for each filter we clean, which you can keep with the vehicle’s records.
How often should fleet DPFs be cleaned?
There’s no fixed interval. It depends on how each vehicle is used, because ash builds up over time and some duty cycles block filters much faster. Logging warning lights and cleans per vehicle is the best way to spot a pattern.
Can depots outside Stoke post filters to you?
Yes. Filters can be posted to us from anywhere in the UK. Quote and return times depend on location.
Do you clean HGV filters as well?
Yes, on quote. Send us the filter details or part number. Our new DCS-20L machine supports HGV filters. See HGV DPF cleaning.
Call or WhatsApp us with what you run and what the vehicles are doing, and we’ll come back with prices and a plan.
